Folks:

Since I was in the middle of transferring my biblio to the PC, these were unavailable because I did not want to misspell anything. Here, Montaballo can also be found in the library as Montabaddoa.

Montabadda, F. D., & or Montaballo, F. (1917). S'ensuyt le Nouveau Monde (Sensuyt) (French translation of the four voyages of Vespucci, Paris, 1515 ed.). Princeton University Press.
One thing is this book that is important is that Anthony sent word to the ruler that they
  would return in 26 years. 1493 + 26 = 1519.

This book has never been translated as a whole story. It has been sliced up into many different events, but all agree with the map of di Ricci and the message about CC voyage that is in the water area. (see my web site under Cartography if interested in a close-up. There is an Italian version of Vespucci also

Stradnus (1893). The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
(Quaritch, Bernard, Trans.)
(Reproduced in Facsimile
London: Piccadilly. that mentions the Tholmecs. Interestingly enough, it seems to be the German version of Olmec. I believe Eric Boot has that as a dictionary.

The other tidbit that is necessary in understanding the book is that there was a specific date span between Portugal to Spain. As far as I can tell, this date difference also applies to England and Holland up to the XVI century.

In orther words 1455 and 1493 are one and the same year, except that 1455 is the Portuguese version and 1493 is the Spanish. This also means that the 1460 version of the di Ricci map could also be 1498. A backdated mss always secures hidden info that has to be in plain sight.

References to this date span can be found in:

  Thanks.

Dea
