[Aztlan] ReL Wheels in Mesoamerica

One more item of interest regarding wheels. There are two terracotta  objects 
sporting wheels that are clearly flatbeds. One has a monkey skin draped  over 
a rectangular platform riding on top of a flatbed (Ancient Art of  Veracruz, 
1971, p. 63, Fig. 56); the other is a flatbed with  a head  of an animal 
attached to the front end of the flatbed (Boggs, "Salvadoran  Varieties of Wheeled 
Figurines," Contributions to Mesoamerican  Anthropology, Pub. No. 1 (Miami: 
Institute of Maya Studies, 1973, Fig, 1). 
 
I've made drawings of these two and can send them to anyone who requests  
them personally through e-mail.
