I have stepping stone on a path in my backyard and a paved walkway
to my house and a paved sidewalk in front of my home. Notice I did
not refer to either of these surfaces as a "roadway" which must have been
a tricky way to support the wheels associated with roadways. Why else...?
To keep the mud away, see the snakes etc., not worry so much about
vegetation
and it's easier to walk on... but sunnier.
