Hi

Is there any other info on the excavations of the site? I was allowed to
visit the site a few years ago. They had unearthed a main plaza and a
pyramid and were awaiting negotiations with a local farmer to purchase more
land surrounding the main plaza. One point that was made to me was that the
only pyramid that seemed to be in the city was the unique shaped one
dedicated to Ehecatl. It looked similar to the one at Huexotla. I was told
this was unusual to have just the one pyramid, particularly one dedicated to
Ehecatl in the city. Has this changed. have there been any other pyramids
found. How big is the excavation site now?

Also, anyone know the latest on the Toltec site Huapacalco (I think that's
it's name- near Tulancingo). It has a couple of small pyramids at the base
of a hill with some excavations being carried out on top of the hill. The
workers weren't allowing anyone to see what they were doing. This was a few
years ago.

If there's any more news on excavations, etc on the Non-Maya parts of Mexico
please share them with us. I'm starved for info. I'm always looking out for
info but it's hard to come by. Unfortunately, even this list tends to
concentrate more on the Maya. That's not a criticism just an observation. It
would be good to see more on the non-Maya cultures. That's my two bobs
worth.

Thanks, CC
