[Aztlan] AZ: Sultepec

I  visited the site of Calpulalpan/Sultepec in 2003 and was taken on an 
unofficial tour by the site guard. There actually was very little 
excavation outside of the temple/priestly precinct., which was small and 
delimited at that time. I heard as well that  INAH was in negotiation 
with the local adjacent farm owner to extend the work. Clearly visible 
on eroded areas were parts of puppet figurines a la Teotihuacan. I do 
not recall seeing Postclassic style ceramics. I was shown the internal 
well system. Was that where the conquest period Spanish artifacts were 
found? I think the arqueologist involved was Enrique Martinez Vargas, 
but I'm not sure.
