Estimados Listeros,

While the Wheeled Vehicle discussion has been very
informative for some participants, it has moved beyond
Pre-Columbian topics to issues of world technology and
even culturally-biased accusations.  We, the
moderators, would like to keep the Aztlan list focused
upon current topics from the Americas.

Elongated discussions of Old World cultures are
certainly relevant to the discussion of the
development of the wheel, but they are not the focus
of this listserv.  We are not trying to diminish the
relevance of this topic, but instead trying to keep
the listserv inline with our stated goals of focusing
upon the native cultures of the Americas. 
Cross-cultural comparisons are welcome, but they
cannot become the focus of this list.
