Art Bell's late night radio show has prominently featured "experts" talking about the end of the Mayan calendar for years (along with U.F.O. and gub'mint conspiracy "experts").  Will the History Channel show debunk the idea that the world is ending, or should we all start short-selling stocks in 2011?

The Mayan calendar runs on a 52-year cycle?  Does that coincide with the Aztec 52-year round?  Are they the same system?
