Hello All!

I have just joined this list, and must say that I am
fascinated with some of the posts while being amused
with others.

But while you're on the subject, I'd like to take this
opportunity to set the record straight in case anyone
saw the "Digging for the Truth" Episode on
Teotihuacan.

While they had me discussing some of the mural
paintings over at Tepantitla (where I was wrongly
billed as an "Art Historian" - - I am in reality an
archaeologist), they made it look like I talked about
the "Ball Game" as having been played here at
Teotihuacan. The way they edited it, what you DIDN'T
see was me pointing out that the scene in question
does not have the "ends" of the court, thereby
indicating the typical "I" pattern, and therefore
designating the scene as depicting a different game
altogether, which I was explicitly pointing out as
they were filming.

They used that clip of me as a cozy introduction to
their next scene in the program; the host of the show
actually participating in a modern Ullama game.
Television - ACK!!!!

Anyway, just thought I'd throw that in. Carry on!
