Dear David,
An easy way to achieve your goal is to visit the FAMSI web site.
www.famsi.org. Click on Maya Writing, read the opening page and then go to
Dictionary of Maya Hieroglyphs (2002) by John Montgomery
An online dictionary of Maya glyphs with phonetic transcriptions, "T"
numbers, definitions and sound recordings.
You should then be able to find the phonemes for the name you wish to spell
and combine the glyphs. However, since there is no sound "D" in the Mayan
script, you do have a problem and will have to do some substitutions.
