The other assumed trade I know of asides from Tomatos and avocados are
xoloitzcuinti dogs, well known throughout Mesoamerica, they are also
found in Peru where they are known as Peruvian Inca Orchid.

What I find interesting is that in the 1960's we were taught in Mexican
history official textbooks that they were indeed trading, A quick
search on the internet does yield a couple of interesting facts.

Avocado seeds (pits) were found with Incan mummies dating to 8th c, BCE
and we know that the Mexika cultivated it, ( really didn't research if
the Teotiwakan, Toltek or Maya used these stapples) While this is no
proof of trade it does speak of a commercial exchange at a certain
level between Mesoamerica and Incan regions. A quick google search for
tomato also brings out a Peruvian origin to tomato, which we also know
was cultivitated in Mesoamerica.

Perhaps there is something to this notion of trade between Mexika and
Inca.

Marcos.
