Sir,
As the person who started this thread (this time around at least) I feel compelled to respond with 2 points.
1) As far as I can tell the archive only goes back to January 2006. http://www.famsi.org/pipermail/aztlan/
If there is an older archive I am not aware of it.
2) It is VERY hard to locate things in this archive unless you know either the date, poster or actual subject line of the thread.
If someone has information on this topic (specifically contact with Hawaii) they can feel free to send it directly to me and I apologize for taking up time and space unnecessarily.
