Dear Robert,

Such systems have been documented in the La Quemada, Zacatecas, region by Charles D. Trombold and company (Trombold 1991, "Ancient Road Networks and Settlement Hierarchies in the New World). Other sizeable road networks with attendant "radial
causeways" have been documented for the Basin of Mexico (Santley, et al) and Tlaxcala, Casas Grandes (Chihuahua, Mexico), and the American Southwest. While La Quemada exhibits considerable complexity and a host of radial causeways, the apparent
symmetry is largely a product of (or conditioned by) site hierarchies and topography. Good luck!
