So the Moche answer to combat inside spear range would be these 'war clubs' then? I read a few references that talk about copper and gold guilded clubs. Would some of these copper guilded clubs be possible to cut with or were they all bulbous ended blunt trauma weapons?

Anyone know of evidence of pre-Columbian Moche swords?
(read 'swords' as any kind of bladed cutting or
thrusting weapon
over the average knife size)
