[Aztlan] Preclassic maya trade routes

Hi All,
         I am in the process of doing reaserch for a novel I may one day write. The novel is set in about 100ad. from the net and other books i have been able to buy I have found out the major cities that where around at that time but they never mention trade routes or the interactions between the cities . any help would be appreiciated.
