My family hasn't been anywhere near the Caucasus for 6,000 or 7,000 years,
yet I am Caucasian. My ancestors emigrated to America in the late 17th
century, yet I am somehow European. My skin is tanned from a week in Texas
for the Ohio State - University of Texas game, yet I am called white. Just
call me Greg and be done with it.

Regards,

Greg

Subject: [Aztlan] Indian ?

> Reading the book 1491 the author uses the term Indian over and over, is
this correct? We all know this is a term given mistakenly and in some Native
American cultures it is an insult, growing up I heard over and over the term
Indios to mean stupid, inferior and lazy! Isnt it time to stop using the
word Indian? Mario Malo
