While looking for precision to the mm is nice, do you think precision to the
nearest micron would be better?  Perhaps if you are trying to measure
distances under a microscope but I am not sure that will get you what you
are seeking.  One would have to go far out in the series to find that type
of precision. Not finding it there wouldn't tell you much about the Mayas
use or non use of same.  Best to first get rough cut approximations.  You
will find much more available. Not too many of the folks in the field are
measuring buildings, doorways etc to mm.  I may be incorrect.
