Dear colleagues,

We at the University of Kansas are pleased to announce
the upcoming Mid-America Linguistics Conference, to be
held at the KU Lawrence Campus, October 26-28, 2007. 
We are especially delighted to be hosting the
conference this year as it commemorates the 50th
anniversary of the Linguistics department at KU.  This
year's special interest sessions will be on
neurolinguistics and less commonly studied languages. 
The new deadline for abstract submission is August 22.

We would be grateful if you would post the attached
