Correction accepted.  But isn't it interesting that
the translation in Sahagun begins by stating that the
Perforador are the sticks for creating fire, not for
bloodletting.

 Is it not another way to say that the GODS are the
gods of the "fires of creation" that man only
understands as sexual contact with females

What has been lost over the centuries?
