Erik Boot pointed out to me that the Vase of the Seven Gods
and the Vase of the Nine Gods are set in the otherworld,
and that they have visitors on the left and the chief lord on the right.

That would be the *same as* palace scenes in our world,
not the mirror image, as I had suggested Steve Houston hypothesized.

My reference to Steve Houston hypothesizing a difference,
the otherworld scenes being the opposite of scenes in our world,
was based on someone crediting him with such an idea,
many years ago.   I wanted to be sure not to omit credit.
I was not quoting from any publication, and am unaware whether
such an idea has appeared in print.   I also do not know
exactly how Steve would have formulated such a rule years ago,
or whether he adheres to such a hypothesis or a similar one today,
if it was or can be formulated to get around what seem to be exceptions.

Just being careful.
