Univ. of Colorado Press has just published the English translation of 
Alain Breton's book _Rabinal Achi_, giving the complete text of the
Pe'rez manuscript, a second independent source document with
better use of the letters for /q'/ and /k'/ -- along with extensive
analysis.? An introduction by Robert Carmack makes explicit its
position relative to other work on this dance drama and on other
contact-era documents from highland Guatemala.? 
It contains a very nice vocabulary list at the back citing many of
the major dictionaries / lexicographic sources for the K'ichean 
languages.? Very useful.? 
Previously in French and Spanish, now in English.
