Folks;
After hearing a myth about the Paddler gods of Tikal
bone work, I got curious and blew up a copy of them.
The myth based on the ecliptic band said that corn was
thrown on to the Turtle constellation (here the land),
a thing I have never heard before.
I always heard, the various animals in the canoe were
the "paddlers" of the sky boat. I was very surprised
to find that only two entities had paddles, the first
(Night Sky Jaguar) and the last (a year binder god
with the same huge knot on his sash as the first.
I also discovered that what is called the peccary has
a long fuzzy tail. Peccaries do not have tails that
are fuzzy or that long, if at all. Can you all suggest
anything else that is "different."

Thanks
