Dear Listeros,

I offer this poem I wrote recently for those who might enjoy it. Feedback is welcome.
The title is still tentative.

Sayil Project - South Structure

You come here to uncover my house,

To claim my ruined story:

With sharp tools you peel

Back layers of skin,

Brush earth from my ribs, painstakingly,

Hollow out glyph lines, gather dull

Shattered pieces,

Sift the remains of my physical existence

In your hands;

You reconstruct semblance.

Who lives here?

Marketplace Lord? Of House of Khan?

Fertility God? His servants?

Who lives here still?

If you uncover my formative structure,

What I forget , then you remember:

Dressed in feathers, obsidian mirror,

They come from all directions,

Where rivers spill out cave mouths,

>From where the sun first rises;

Beneath these hills sound of footsteps carry

An affinity for questions.
