[Aztlan] book recommendation

The book 1491 is one of the very best I have read in many years and I have been teaching this stuff for more years that I care to remember.

A friend of mine has asked me to recommend a book that summarizes the 
latest findings (in the last twenty years) on the peopling of the 
Americas.  I can also track down and photocopy summary articles for 
him.  Without yanking on a controversial thread, any suggestions?
