[Aztlan] New Friends of the Maya Website

Dear Listeros,

As many of you know, a non-profit organization, called The Friends of the Maya, Inc., was formed a couple years ago to help indigenous Maya scholars attend the annual Maya Meetings at the University of Texas.  Our new website is finally up and running - http://www.friendsofmayainc.org/.  Please take a look and let us know what you think.  We hope you will stay tuned and mark it as a favorite.  We are especially pleased to be able to offer on-line copies of the K'aaylay magazine about Yucatek Maya culture, written in Spanish and Yucatek, thanks in great part to Ana Patricia Martinez Huchim.  This year we are again trying to help at least 15 Maya scholars attend the Texas Maya Meetings.  We enthusiastically invite your participation and assistance.
