The question by posed by Henry Avila was in reference to:

"..*. already popular 2012 maya predictions*"  and any relative scientific
data

I think it would be helpful to focus on the adjective, "Maya"  and perhaps
state the source and content of these "Maya Prediction(s)".  If we stuck to
this criteria we could eliminate the "Popular" tag.  It would be helpful to
know what stela, pot, book it came from.  When was the prediction made
Pre/post calendar development? pre/post contact?  Also would be helpful if
the 'reporter'  had a book in print relative to the 'fact' or was planning a
commercial tour.
