Dear listeros,
I don't mean to bring this up as a topic for
discussion (so please only respond to me off-list)...
But I was recently forwarded this link to a new Warner
Bros. online game series called "Scooby Doo Mayan
Mayhem". Game levels include "Terror in Tikal" and
other Maya themes.

I thought that some list members might enjoy playing
with their children or have their grandchildren play
while the adults have "adult time" over the holidays.
It's not scholarly, but it is fun, and requires
absolutely no downloads or software (completely
online) and the controls are simply the arrow keys and
the space bar. But it will keep the kids occupied for
quite a while.
The artwork is fantastic for an online game, and may
be of interest to those who research popular
representations of Mesoamerican cultures in the media.
[The plot is that Scooby and Shaggy are looking for
the perfect hot peppers for their chili recipe in the
jungles of Guatemala.]
