Hello,

The date of first migration to this continent has always been in limbo. I remember the official date was about 11,000 years ago. Granted the dates don't seem too far apart (11,000 and 15,000), but if we think about it, 4,000 years *is* a long time.

What about other theories and proof of a much older migration? There is a discovery in the Valsequillo Basin of Puebla, Mexico, of human footprints that date to 40,000 years ago. Why is this brushed off? Also, why does the American migration theory
revolve around the Bering Strait and not around the possibility of a maritimal migration?

Thanks,
Ramiro
