This is an off-the wall-question about your concerns.
I have looked into the Codex Borgia and discovered that the calendar segment (first pages) contain 52 columns of seven units each. (This includes the borders, top and bottom)
The Madrid on the other hand, only count 4 units in each of the 52 columns that are drawn in. Why are these calendars not calculated on the number of days per week and why is the Madrid three days short in each column?

I can easily understand or accept that maybe the Maya of the Yucatan
Peninsula,
tried to count the days in cycles of 5.200 tun or 13 Baktun.
With 5 of this Great Cycles of 13 Baktun or 5.200 tun they builded up a Big
Cycle of 26.000 tun.
A pretended LC-number like 0.0.0.0.0, that should marked the beginning of
each cycle,just simply doesn't exist!!!
In fact this was an endless counting with no beginning and no end.
But why did they choose, among all the other available Ahaucycles,
just exactly 13.0.0.0.0 4 Ahau 8 Kumku to start the Last Great Cycle.
Was it really because of a possible zenitpassage?
