If you look on page 52a of the Dresden Codex, frame 1, you will see 3 LC dates.
12 Lamat, 1 Akbal and 3 Etznab.
On the left, in black, there is recorded: 9.16.4.11.18 3 Etznab,
that fits with the Gregorian date of 10 decembre 755, if you use the 83GMT.
This date fits with the Solar Eclips of 8 decembre 755 (-2 days), if you use the 85GMT.
on page 52a, on the right, in black, is recorded 9.16.10.8 12 Lamat.
In red, 9.16.4.11.3 1 Akbal is recorded,
that fits with the Gregorian date of 25 novembre 755, if you use the 83GMT.
Two days earlier, on 23 novembre 755, 85GMT, there was a Lunar Eclips.
With these 3 LC-dates: 9.16.4.10.8 12 Lamat, 9.16.4.11.18 3 Etznab and
9.16.4.11.3 1 Akbal you could compose 3 tables till the year 2500 a. Christ.
1. A predictable table with 12 Lamat.
2. A Solar Eclipstable with 3 Etznab.
3. A Lunar Eclipstable with 1 Akbal.
The dichotomy is not made by the Maya, but by the use of 2 different calendars,
the Gregorian and the Juliandaycount(JDN).
