[Aztlan] MA: The Vase Workshop at the Maya Meetings

The Maya Meetings in Austin Texas will run from Friday, March 9 through
Wednesday, March 14, 2007.

This year the Maya Vase Workshop will take as its theme, The Unknown
Stories. 

We will discuss mythological images that do not relate directly to the Popol
Vuh and try to ascertain, from the information we have at hand, what aspects
of the Maya story they represent.  

We will also discuss the cross-linkage of a number of beings from their
earliest manifestations to their appearance in the Late and Terminal Classic
periods.

To those who intend to attend the workshop, we will be using a digital
projector and if you wish to prepare any materials, put it on a CD or dongle
(USB flash media, thumb drives, etc.).
