[Aztlan] exact location of Aztlan

Kala mai.  The important thing in Robert Hall's post was not chichi  
or dogs, but, rather, the possibility of and evidence for a celestial  
location for Aztlan. i didn't mean to sidetrack discussion from his  
premise, a premise that I think has merit.

Celestial locations of mythological origins are not paid enough  
attention, but certainly they're in many mythologies.  Among the  
peoples with whom I've lived there are origin stories that say the  
"people" came from the stars.  Actually, there are similar stories in  
some western mythologies, and a very good argument can be made that  
Plato's Atlantis was intended by him not to represent a terrestrial  
location, but a cosmological era.

Anyway, I'm sorry if the dog thread took away from the far more  
important material Dr. Hall offered, and I sure hope we can follow up  
on his post.
