I know this is "off the wall", but does anyone know what became of the supply
if "microtexts" (I guess microfiches) that were made of Walt(h)er Lehmann's
"Zentral-Amerika. Die Sprachen Zentral-Amerikas in ihren Beziehungen
zueinander zowie[sowie] zu Zud-Amerika[Süd-Amerika] und Mexico"? According to
the IJAL, vol XXIII, no. 4 (Oct 1957) pp. 304-5, they were then possible to
order from a Mrs. Beatrice F. Welmers of 143 Girard Avenue, Hartford 5,
Connecticut, USA. Prof Gleason, who apparently was connected to said seminary
and in charge of the production, is (recently) deceased. Anyone know anything
else? I asked at the Hartford Seminary at 55 Elizabeth Street, Hartford 5, and
got a nice reply to the effect that the materials apparently didn't make the
move to the new abode of the Seminary in the 1970's (at 77 Sherman Street,
Hartford, CT 06105-2260). I was thinking that maybe Prof. Gleason gave them
to someone else when he retired, for that person to deal with...
Or...

Thanks,
Randa
