For those who would like to see fertility cults in action there are great
examples of the use of sculptural phalli in Japanese rituals. Here is just

In fact when I was living in Japan I remember there was a penis caving
competition at one shrine in Korea, I believe. Artist got entire logs but
everyone else just got small posts.

And I don't think they are using these things as clothes hangers.
