[Aztlan] Sayil glyphs question

Hi Everyone,

Some of my Sayil photos have been kindly hosted at Virtual Mesoamerican
Archives and I'm now in the process of writing short text descriptions to go
with the pictures. On one of the buildings ('South group structure1') there
is a row of glyphs that I would like to mention in the write-up along with
its possible translation. The John Montgomery Dictionary (a fairly new
resource for me) contains a few glyphs that resemble the symbols on the
structure. For instance, (T561c) appears somewhat similar to the glyph that
looks like a frontal view of a serpent’s open jaw with eye beads and
fangs...So I wonder if I should read this glyph as a variant on 'CHAAN/KAAN'
meaning possibly ‘ sky ’ or ‘captor', or homophonously ‘four’ and ‘snake’
? The other legible glyphs in the row seem to be number signs.

Any interpretative feedback from listeros to provide some context and
identity would be much appreciated. The structure and the glyphs were
previously posted at Aztlan in Volume 19, Issue 4 (June 4/07) and can be
seen at:
