They have a copy of "Mesoamerican Ethnohistory in United States
Libraries, Reconstruction of the William E Gates Collection of
Historical and Linguistic Manuscripts" (Labyrinthos) compiled by John M.
Weeks. There are some used copies available online, but the sellers
don't ship to Mexico. I've queried to see if they will make an
exception, but this will surely be a lengthy process. As I don't have
access to a university library here in Cancun, I wonder if anyone would
be willing to do me the favor of looking through the book, if it is
available in your library, and seeing if it contains any information
about the "Yucatan in 1579" map. I'm sure that any positive results will
be of great interest to other list members
