The reference is to an edition of the Codex Mendoza other than the 
most recent one edited by Berdan and Anawalt and published by U Ca. 
Press in 1992.

The reference is to folio 33r, the second glyph down on the left hand 
side of the page.  It can be found in Vol. 4 of Berdan and Anawalt, 
p. 71, or the facsimile volume 3, p. 73.
