[Aztlan] mayan/hammock question

Certainly hammocks are not a Maya invention. There's no evidence of hammock
hangers in Maya architecture as there are curtain holders and internal
benchs, among other items, into Mayan houses.
It seems hammocks arrived to Yucatan through the Caribbean during Colonial
times.
