[Aztlan] 2008 Austin Maya Meeting Planning Get Together

Hello Friends,

I know that a vast majority of the people on the Aztlan listserv do not live anywhere near Austin, Texas, but I wanted to get the word out to as many people as possible about the planning that we are doing for next year and try to drum up volunteers.  I am also compiling an email group where I will send updates (or pleas for help), to folks periodically, so let me know if you want to be on that email list and I will add you to it (be sure to include your Name as well as your email address).

Details of the get together:
Its a meeting and a party to plan for 2008 Austin Maya Meetings!
When: Meeting starts at 4:00 pm, Sunday May 13th
When: Party begins at 5:30 pm, Sunday May 13th 
Where: Elaine and David Schele's house @ 5604 Lemonwood, Austin, Texas - let me know if you need a map to the house
Why: To organize the volunteers for 08 Austin Maya Meeting and to thank the 07 volunteers
            
Please mark your calendars for Sunday, May 13th at 4:00 pm and join us in a meeting and party to plan for next year and to celebrate another successful Maya Meeting for the 2007 year.

We have a pool, so if the weather's nice bring a chair and your swimsuit and we will be grilling hamburgers and request that you bring chips, condiments, dips, pickles, sliced tomatoes and your own favorite beverage.
