I think Copan is an excellent choice of subject matter for the Maya Meetings. Copan has an
  exquisite example of a Mesoamerican ball court. Have all the hieroglyphs from the center
  marker of the original ball court been deciphered?
   
  My compliments to all those who have dedicated so much time and effort into the study of
  the Maya. The progress that has been made over the years in deciphering the glyphs, and
  understanding the Maya culture in general, is amazing to me. It almost seems divinely
  inspired at times.
