[Aztlan] ANDEAN AND AMAZONIAN ARCHAEOLOGY DISCUSSION GROUP

Listeros,

I have created a new Google group; Andean and Amazonian Archaeology  
Discussion Group.

I will moderate the listserv so that all postings remain on topic and  
do not veer off into science fiction archaeology or flaming.

Anyone can join. I hope that those interested in the listserv will  
tell others who have the same interest.

In order to keep this in the Aztlan family, I will cross post all  
messages to the Andean group to Aztlan as well so that Aztlan stays  
as a pan-Ancient American listserv covering all topics from North  
America to Mesoamerica to South America.

Since there was some interest from Andeanists for a separate  
listserv, this is a good compromise since we can continue to link  
Andean postings on the new listserv to Aztlan so that those who may  
only have a mild interest in Andean archaeology can still read those  
posts on Aztlan if they want to.

The new listserv gives you the same options as Aztlan to read the  
postings as they come in or receive a daily digest or simply read  
them without joining.

you want to post.

I hope this serves the interests of our entire Aztlan family.

And I hope I set the group up correctly so there are no problems.
