FYI - Here is a list of classes that are being offered at the 2008 Maya Meetings beginning February 25th http://www.utmaya.org/ (the 4-day intensive specialized workshops precede the weekend symposium and on Friday, February 29th from 9 AM to 12 PM the workshop participants present their results):

-Beginning Maya Hieroglyphs 

-Intermediate Glyphs - Copan (Prerequisite: Maya glyphs or language)

-Advanced Maya Glyphs and Grammar (Prerequisite: Maya glyphs or language)

-Spanish Introduction/Intermediate Glyphs 

-Iconography/Maya Vases 

-Yucatan & Chilam Balam

-Introduction to Maya Textiles
