Listeros,
National Geographic has just posted a follow up story on the 4000
year old temple and murals in Peru. The chiefr archaeologist says the
mural you have all seen a picture of is a deer caught in a net. He
has also found skeletons of monkeys and parrots from the jungle and
shells from the Ecuador coast there. The bricks were made from river
sediment and represent a type of construction never seen before this
early in Northern Peru.
I am sure we will be hearing more as this exciting story unfolds.
There are more photos in the National Geographic story as well.
