tezuatl =  tezoatl  = Arbusto (shrub or bush) que da

This last may be the "lipstick" bush. It has a fluffy
pink flower like a pompom but the seeds, I believe,
are small, red and triangular. Used by some women, I
was told, to color their lips also

Triangular red seeds are usually called "color" in all
the mercados, both in North and South Americas,
because it produces a red (and with oil cooking an
yellow/orange) that makes bland looking fideos
(noodles and other white foods) look more apetizing.
Very necessary in undeveloped countries.
