Thank you to all who have provided me with information on what exactly Uitzquauitl (Brasilwood). I have been searching for almost a year, off and on, and not really finding what I was looking for. Thank you.
 
I am still at a loss as to what tezuatl is, as far as the Latin name goes. It is also a plant, likely a tree. This one has proven to be a great mystery, as I have never found a word even remotely similar to it referring to plants in the dictionaries I have searched. As my Nahuatl is non-existent, it's made this search very difficult. It was just a vague reference that I found in the Florentine Codex.
