With respect, Nick, the exact quote from the article
we have been discussing is:

"The vomit was stained red by the hallucinogenic drug
achiote, traces of which were also found in his
stomach and faeces."

Based upon Mike's additional research (thanks Mike!)
perhaps the article should have read: The presence of
achiote in the stomach, vomit and feces may indicate
the use of additional hallucinogens since achiote can
be used to purge the system during hallucinogenic
rituals.
