Hello all!
I recently graduated from college with a BA in Anthropology and have studied
Maya archaeology and archaeoastronomy in some depth. At this point I'm not
sure or at least am not ready to jump into a grad program, but would still
very much like to stay involved with (Maya) archaeology. Anyone have any
advice or ideas/suggestions I could look into?
I do have field experience and spent a semester and summer working in
Honduras. Spanish is not fluent, but I can more than get around. Have some
GIS experience, but not enough for a CRM job (I am aware of other lists such
as shovelbums, but would rather try for something else first). Also did a
field school in upstate NY.
I would be more than happy pursuing some kind of internship in museums or
object conservation (I live near NYC), but I do have scary loans to repay!
Again, if anyone has ideas, they would be much appreciated!
Thanks a ton,
Kristin
