In 2008 journal "Mexicon" celebrates its 30th anniversary! Please notice that the editors are currently updating the website www.mexicon.de. As a special service to our readers and all of you interested in Mesoamerican archaeology, ethnology and linguistics we posted on our website two PDF files containing thousands of bibliographic references that had been published in the bibliographic section of our mexicon, from volume 1(1979)-volume 20(1999). One file contains an index of book titles (around 386 pages), and the second file includes an index of articles in journals (275 pages). The both contains complete data that has been published in Mexicon between 1979-1996/8.

Since 1979 the editors of Mexicon bring our readers the most up-to-date information on trends and developments in the fields of archaeology, ethnohistory and linguistics.  News as it breaks: events affecting indigenous communities, new archaeological discoveries, important dates and details on conferences, exhibitions, and fellowships.  Papers and reports: bringing you the latest on a wide range of topics and issues bearing on Mesoamerica.  The most thorough Mesoamerican bibliography available anywhere: new books and articles, monographs and dissertations from all over the globe.

mexicon is published bi-monthly, volumes starting in February each year.

Back numbers are available (Vols. 1-5 on microfiche only).
