[Aztlan] Mummy of girl sacrificed by Incans prompts gasps

It is true that the taboo of viewing of the dead differs from culture
to culture and in andean pre-contact, as well inca times from what we
know the dead were displayed but divorced from their religious and or
spiritual context i think it is profane to display human remains in a
museum, any museum, this is of course only my perspective. I think the
modern context is very different and the dissent of local peoples on
the instalation speaks volumes that this context is dissonant to the
rbinging out of ancestors for ceremonies.
