I had the pleasure of meeting Arcadio Salanic a few
weeks ago here in
Minnesota. He is a young man but a very wise
traditional Maya healer, very focused on his mission
of helping his people back home at the same time that
he shares his traditional Maya culture with the public
here in Minnesota. His message below, in Spanish,
explains that he is raising funds to create an
educational facility for Maya children back home and
also to support traditional Maya craftspeople in
marketing their wares. I encourage you to consider
making a donation to reach his modest fundraising
goal.

fraternal, nuestro centro, esta participando, en un
programa por la justicia, tambien una carrera para
encontrar fondos economicos, y poder fortalecer
nuestra esperanza de apoyar nuestros diferentes
programas de: Intercambios Culturales entre la
comunidad de Estados Unidos y Guatemala, promover las
Artesanias Mayas, un centro educativo para
