I noticed the same thing, Justin! Dick Diehl was
surely posing in the traditional Olmec regal stance,
such as that shown in Oxtotitlan (a famous rock
shelter set of paintings in Guerrero that allowed
researchers to determine that the Olmec "altars" were
likely not altars at all, but instead "thrones"):

If Dick's pose was not purposeful, he has simply
become more comfortable in Olmec poses than he
realizes.
